How to maintain a 2006 BMW 5 series?

I am about to buy a 2006 5 series with 51,000 miles on it. What do I have to do to keep it running great? What should I ask before buying it as far as recent maintenance goes?

i am not 100% sure but i thought bmw's came with 4 years of free maintenence so if thats the case you can take it to the dealer for oil changes and the like
1. MAKE SURE it has been maintained. Ask for maintenence reciepts and everything. 2. It will tell you how to maintain it in the manual.
