How to maintain a 2006 BMW 5 series?

I am about to buy a 2006 5 series with 51,000 miles on it. What do I have to do to keep it running great? What should I ask before buying it as far as recent maintenance goes?

  • i am not 100% sure but i thought bmw's came with 4 years of free maintenence so if thats the case you can take it to the dealer for oil changes and the like
  • 1. MAKE SURE it has been maintained. Ask for maintenence reciepts and everything. 2. It will tell you how to maintain it in the manual.
