Is this the same procedure for a 2007 Hyundai Elantra...it'd be good to know before I start tearing it apart.?

  • The above poster is correct. If your car is Canadian market there will be a filter there. I am sure the American market cars are the same.
  • It is. Just drop the bos, and you'll see where there is an insertion slot with two clips. Undo it and insert the filter. some might not have it, some will.
