Where is the low port on 2000 Dodge Dakota V8 Magnum air conditioning?

  • The LOW side fitting is usually located on the suction hose or line that goes from the accumulator to the compressor. The HIGH side fitting is located on the line that goes from the compressor to the condenser. Your compressor is just to the left of your alternator on that Dakota. your accumulator looks like a long... Read More
  • Passenger side of the engine compartment. It will either be on the reciever dryer itself or on the line going to it. The high side will be forward closer to the condenser in the high pressure line. High side is the larger port, low side is the smaller. Best of luck! Reference:Master technician.
