2004 CHEVROLET CAVALIER LS SPORT spedometer?

my 2004 CHEVROLET CAVALIER LS SPORT speedometer is stuck at like 100-110. i had this problem before and i disconnected the battery. it went back down for awhile but now its stuck again!!! how do i fix this?

  • The fact that you had to disconnect the battery to fix the problem tells you its an electrical issue. You need to find the sensor that controls the speedo and replace it.
