What is the Ideal tire pressure for a standard 2006 Subaru Forester?

  • I work at a tire shop. The number stated on the side of the tire is the max pressure the tire can hold. Don't ever exceed that. Check the inside door sill. It will say it there. If its not there for some reason just stick to 35psi.
  • Step 1: open drivers door. Step 2: look for tag on inside of door or door sill. Step 3: if no tag refer to owners manual. Step 4: if no tag or owners manual stick to 35 psi. Step 5: fill tires to specified amount using compressed air and a tire psi guage Step 6: motor on man!
  • Check your tires and there will be a PSI and a number. That is the amount of air you want to have in the tires. For better fuel economy- add 2 lbs per tire.
