Can an adult sit between car seats in Mazda tribute?

We're looking to buy a Mazda Tribute. I just had a newborn and my older kid is 18 months. I want to know if I can sit between two car seats. For long trip, I need to feed my babies

  • It's going to be a tight fit. I don't know what size you are or your car seats are so I can't say for certain. The Escape/Tribute is based on the old Mazda 626 sedan which wasn't a very wide car. Japanese cars are usually narrower gauge.

The Tribute's main competition may in fact be Mazda's own CX-7 crossover, a slightly larger, far more carlike vehicle with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and much better road manners and styling.
