  • Check the IAC with a scan tool, the data will tell if it is working properly. It can get sticky and not move fast enough causing stalling and hard starts,. If bad ,install new, do not try to clean. Read More
  • If it only stalls when the brakes are applied, the power brake vacuum booster is bad & is leaking air back into the engine. Unhook the vacuum hose from the engine to the booster & plug it, & see if the engine keeps running when the brakes are applied, as a test.
  • injectors need cleaned or are going bad
