Can the honda element drive on soft sand(beach)?

Just wondering if it can. And if you have any other recommendations for small/relatively cheap suvs/trucks that can drive on soft sand.

  • Yes, if you have 4WD and lower the air pressure in the tires to around 15PSI. You'll be all set. Just stay out of the water and tide zone. Reference:Soft sand driving in a Suburban, Subaru Impreza and seeing Elements out there with me! Read More

Other Choices:

The Mazda5 is a mini-minivan with a decent powertrain, a sliding side door, and enough room for five. The Scion xB has its own alternative appeal, but seems thicker and less fun than the first-generation version. For van lovers and needers, the Ford Transit Connect arrives for the 2010 model year, offering a four-cylinder powertrain and a customizable rear cargo area.
