Why wont my 2001 ford escape start- it just clicks, lights and gauges- intermittent, battery is fully charged.?

  • Take your battery cables loose and clean ( the inside part that connects to the battery ) them then reattach them. Read More
  • alternator, my f 150 did that, i went to a junk yard bought one for 35 compared to around 100 for a new one took ten mins and she was up and running no problem Reference:myself
  • Sounds like battery connection. Also check the grounding connection.
  • alternator or fuel pump
