  • Well it's definitely not going to come off sounding like one of those Honda Civic fart cans. But, being a 3.8 V6 it's not going to sound nearly as good as a V8.   • Go for it. The longer the case length is and the more chambers it has, the quieter it will be. Stick with a 2 1/4 inch muffler. That's about the smallest one they make.
  • If a $70 muffler will make him happy, go for it. Can't sound that bad.
