  • You may have missed that but a mechanic that you SHOULD have taken it to for a pre-purchase inspection would have noticed that and you could have been spared this problem.   • my dad had a ford explorer and his was 2wd but there is a switch on the dash to put it into 4wd so the dealer was telling the truth really.
  • You waited over a year to try and complain? All they will say is it was a "paperwork error'. Too late now. You couldn't tell the difference?
  • are you sure that it is a2wd it might be a4wd vehicle and the transfer case may be messed up, if not demand a refund you did notget whatyou paid for
  • thats fraud/get the lawyer out of the closet and get going/if you have it in writing the dealer is in the soup/get money back + lawyers fee
