• If you like driving fast and cornering fast, then a Wrangler would be dangerous. You have to slow down around the curves so you don't lose control, or worse, roll over. Also, trying to get a baby in and out of a Jeep Wrangler would be a major pain. They are not car seat friendly.
• Depends on the driver. I would ask myself, "What makes my Spyder obviously dangerous?" From that you can determine better if the Jeep is a good vehicle. Is it because it is open topped? Powerful engine? Compare what you feel is unsafe about your Spyder to what is similar with the Jeep.
• If you drive like an idiot you will wreck anything, but if your a safe driver then you'll be fine. I live in the mountains and there are more jeeps per capita then any other brand here. People with children rely on that Jeep getting them back and forth daily and safely. So why would it be any different for you ?
