2008 Hyundai Entourage - CD will load and read, then "Error 42." Why won't it play?

  • "ERROR 42" indicates that the unit mechanism has a problem and would not be capable moving the disc inside so that the laser can properly read info. If still within warranty guidelines, I would take it back to dealer to replace it. Hope this help you. Reference:Hyundai dealer-service Manager
