• We had a Pontiac Sunfire which virtually the same as a Cavalier. 7years and all we replaced were tires, brakes , recharged the a/c once, one of the power window motors, and the fuel pump. • Well MichelleMae you are correct the Cavalier is not in production anymore. I'm sure you can find many cheap used ones around. However you mentioned it is a very small car, which you are right again and it is probably likely to fall apart being so cheap. I would recommend a mid size car such as the Chevy Malibu.
