  • It sounds to me like it is in your head. Maybe you just have never driven a newer or higher performance car, and you are attributing it to a problem. For example, maybe all the cars you drove just had old bearings, while the new Civic rolls freely. Therefore, it holds its speed better, which you are not used to.
