is 60000 miles good on a used 2005 scion xb?

im in the market for a used 2005 scion Xb. i heard it was made by toyota and it has better mpg then my current chevy lumina. so is 60000 good or bad for a used 2005 scion xb

  • 60,000 miles for a 2005 car is a little high but fair. Typically a 4 year old car should have 48,000 miles and a 5 year old car should have 60,000. It's the same with a lease. If you lease a car for 4 years they allow you 48,000 miles. If you lease a car for 5 years they allow you 60,000 miles. Make sure you visit... Read More
  • It is a better car than the Chevy Lumina, and 60,000 is about right for that year ! On that has been taken care of really well, should go about 200,000.miles before any really major work has to be done on it ! I have been a mechanic for over 50 years !
  • 60000 is not much for any used car. As long as it has been takin care of and you take care of it, then it will last a long time.
  • yeah thats pretty good i have a 2006 used xb and it only has about 42000 miles and thats good.
  • 60,000 miles is high but the Xb uses the Toyota Echo drive train. You can expect to get many more miles out of that car. Reference:I have a 2005 Xb with 45,000 miles and it still runs like new.
