2004 Jeep - 4 Cylinder To 6?

How hard would it be really>? How can you switch from a 4 cylinder to a 6 cylinder in a 2004 jeep wrangler?

  • Well you need the engine, clutch, transmission, mounts, accessory mounts, wiring harness, PCM (powertrain control module), If automatic you will need different TCM unless it is NGC then that will come with the new PCM.   • The engine would fit easily since it's an option. The 4cyl tranny may be different tho. not positive.
