2003 Lincoln LS Fan Noise?

I have a 2003 Lincoln LS that starts making a loud fan noise after a few miles of driving. It's not overheating just producing a very loud fan noise. What could this be and what would I need to replace for this noise to stop?

  • could be the bearing on the fan motor going bad if its electric. if its not it could be a bad belt or bearing on one of your Accessory pulleys. Reference:i own a lincoln too. most comfortable car i have ever owned... but is an unreliable pile of crap. it breaks down more than my wife complains. Read More
  • you would need to pin point exactly where the noise is coming from. most likely it would be the power steering pump or the a/c compressor. Reference:my job to know
