What would cause the speedometer to stop working in the 2006 hyundai sonata?

  • Wheel speed censor maybe, its located inside the wheel bearing. I don't know much about them or how to fix them, but that would seem like a likely scenario. Supposedly the sensor gets dirty then is not able to read the wheel speed...Good luck!
