Is the 2008 Lincoln MKZ's optional Navigation system voice operated?

Meaning can I call out a destination or address and it will display it or route me there?

  • The short answer is yes. All Lincoln's for '08 come with Sync, which is the voice command system for Nav and entertainment (music). You can easily use Sync to control the Nav system. You can also do it via the buttons on the face of the unit. Try both and see which is best for you. Reference:Sync trainer! Read More
  • I'm about 90% sure it uses Sync so yes it's voice activated.

Other Choices:

As you consider entry-level luxury sedans, you have a choice to make: front-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive. Sure, there are all-wheel-drive variants, but cars designed as front-drivers (pullers) have different personalities than those designed as rear-drivers (pushers).
