How often should I change the air filter in a 2007 Toyota Rav4 V6?

I know I can check my owner's manual but I was wondering when I really need to change it & how often.

  • every 15k or one year. whichever comes first. this is what we did at toyota when I worked there Read More
  • Air filters should be changed every 12 months or 15,000 miles (this is a factory recommendation). If you live in an area that has alot of dirt you should change it more often or when dirty.
  • every 3000 to 6000 miles depending on your driving conditions.
