where is the drain plug on a 2006 subaru forester? is it that hex screw?

if so what size? how much oil? where is filter located?

  • The drain plug is on the oil pan and is a hex bolt. It's probably a 15 millimeter bolt (just a guess). The car takes five quarts of oil and the filter is underneath the car. Its round and pretty easy to spot. Reference:I own a shop
