What would be the best way to tune a subaru wrx 2006 impreza?

i know that since these cars are all wheel drive;they're not too good with top end. What would be some good ways to make it faster (other than upgrading the turbo) and hel[p performance?

  • Turbo back exhaust cobb accessport down pipe. you would be stage 2 with that, but you would also void your warranty.   • a cobb accessport would be an excellent first step. you can also try a turboback exhaust and go stage 2. avoid intakes and blow-off valves, because they hurt your engine over the long haul (subie engines tend to run lean with an aftermarket intake, and bov's make them run rich between shifts.) don't forget suspension...   • If you want to keep the warranty and not void it, don't mess around with the engine. Try tuning the car with a better air filter and spark plugs that should help.
  • awd does not affect top end. you have a little more drivetrain power loss tho. they have a great top end... like most boosted cars do. research cobb accessport. they have a great program for subies. with cobb tuning and a full exhaust you'll notice a big difference.
