2001 S2000 smokes after friend drove it a little hard. why?

I have a 2001 S2000 and a friend was showing me what it was like at Vtec and now everytime I start it I get a puff of smoke. Is something wrong?

  • You friend show you how to ruining your engine, I hope he will show you how to replace vale seals or piston rings. You should never let anyone abuse your vehicle, even if they think they know what they are doing. You are the one that is going to end up with the repair bill. Read More
  • Nothing, if only a puff of smoke when turning it on. Unless you beat on it possibly the piston rings or a bent valve letting oil through the exhaust.
  • ck how much oil the engine uses between oil change. May have bad valve guides or seals. Reference:Hond Tech.
