where is the inside latch for the rear door on a 2001 toyota sequoia located?

outside latch is broken

  • There really isn't a latch that is easily accessable. The trim on the rear hatch needs to be removed to access the machanicals to both open the hatch and to replace the broken latch.   • there is no inside latch , I use bent nedle nose plyers to open is with a broken handle ,this is a common problem , the new handle is a new inproved one , so it will not happen again . Reference:28 year toyota master
