Can You Put Dual Air Controls In A Car That Only Has One Air Zone To Make It Have Two Air Zones?

I have a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP which had the option of dual air. So I was wondering what I would need to do, other than getting the dual air controls, to make it have dual air zones. Any help would be greatly appriciated Thanks

  • The climate control dampers and so forth are made in a big unit that is aggravating to get to but not in demand as a spare part.   • It would be very expensive the controls are not the only part you need. The a/c systems components are different as well. The system has to be able to divert warmer or colder air to one side or the other. Reference:Gm dealer for 10 years and counting.
