when is a Lexus 2007 a 2006? or is it a 2007?

Looking at a 2007 lexus RX350 listed on NADA vin check as 07 first registered Feb 06 Dealer says normal. Can this be true?

  • This may have to do with how car manufacturers produce the next year's car model the year before. Like, they will start selling 2007 model cars while it is still 2006, so I would guess that maybe the car was made before 2007, but is under the 2007 model. Reference:Bought a 2004 car in 2003
