Can I put 16" rims on my 2007 Audi A6 3.2 Quattro sedan base model?

Or are they going to be too small? I have 18" rims now. I know it is possible on European models and on FWD models, but is it the same with the American Quattro ones? Thanks!

  • My understanding is that the standard wheel size for the 2007 A6 3.2 quattro model is 17 inches. I wouldn't go below the stock size for adequate braking and traction performance. IMO 17" tires are fitted to Quattro models (as opposed to 16") because of their heavier weight. Read More
  • You can, you'll just need to up the size of the sidewalls on your tires. I dont really know why you would want to its going to look odd.
