How do I use the aux input for my 2006 Saab 9-3 2.0T?
Yesterday, I bought a used 2006 Saab 9-3 2.0T and in my center console there is a small hole next to the electrical input and I think it's an aux input. However, I cant find any option on the stereo menu on how to use it. And where can I find an instructions manual for the... Read More

The Aux input is very useless there is no pl;ug at all for a MP3 sorry to tell you this. Reference:My 9-3 inexplicably used oil and coolant for some reason, so keep quarts of that around for occasional fill-ups when the computer tells you they are low. Wind buffeting from the sunroof at high speeds. Useless aux input... Read More

AUX input
It's not useless! You do need to get your own plug, though. Fortunately, I had a plug that came with an iHome 2Go radio I purchased for my iPod - it is just a short cord with headphone jacks on either end - you can use it to connect the iPod to the AUX input that is in the center console - that's definitely what that is! I'm sure you can find a cheap cord at RadioShack or another such store.

AUX input
Select CD on your radio display, from there you get two options - CD or AUX input - select AUX and start rocking to your favorite tunes. Both my XM Roadie and Ipod work with the AUX input.
