Is my 2006 Saab a gas guzzler?

  • Using 93 octane fuel, I can consistently get above 30 mpg highway and 23 mpg in the suburbs with my 9-5 Aero (a heavier, more powerful car). Even in city driving, I never get below 18. I know the 9-3 is supposed to get better gas mileage so something is definitely wrong. Read More
  • My 2004 9-3 2.0t is saying I'm getting about 22.8mpg. I do mostly city driving. When I do a lot of highway driving I can get it up to about 31mpg. So yeah, that seems like a problem. Make sure you check your tire pressure, your air filter, and make sure your Turbo is working properly. Good luck!
