Jaguar XJR 98 model vs Audi S8 98 model?

In terms of reliability only, which is the more reliable?

  • I enjoy driving both for the Jag has style and the A8 great sturdiness. I suspect the A8 will be more reliable but it will be expensive to replace many of its major parts. Both are heavy on petrol at a time when its cost is so prohibitive.

  • You can get a lemon in any make of car, but Audi have always had a better reputation for reliabilty than Jaguar. I'd still rather have the Jag though!
