My 2006 Pontiac Torrent make a whistling noise when driving, but stops when car is idling.?

  • Sometimes things like a bad drive Axel can cause that type of noise almost as if whistling or a bad wheel bearing too.Try listening for the noise as you drive but be sure you do check to see if it's got anything to do with open vents or the windows first off.   • That's simple make sure your windows are all the way up. Sometimes that's the solution and also check the a/c vents make sure those are all the way closed/open.
