Using premium will ensure your car performs the ways it is supposed to, that it gets the gas mileage it's supposed to, and that it's engine will last as long as it's supposed to. You'll have all kind of problems using regular. Better use the premium. It cost more but that's one thing most people forget to think about when buying that new car. It's designed to use premium so you better use it. The warranty won't be any good using regular.

NO....don't do it! You can use Premium in a car with an engine designed for the Octane of Regular but, you can't do the reverse and use Regular in a car designed for the Octane of Premium.
