A new crossover for Suzuki in 2007, the compact SX4 is a five-door hatchback with standard all-wheel drive and a starting price point of just under $15,000.
It comes standard with a 143-horsepower version of Suzuki's 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine, Suzuki's Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive (I-AWD) system, theater-style seating for back seat passengers, 16-inch wheels, four wheel disc brakes, and the buyer's choice of five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. Suzuki claims the SX4 is the least expensive vehicle with standard all-wheel drive.
Traction and stability control are standard on the SX4 Sport; all models get six standard airbags, including front seat side-impact and full row head/curtain airbags, as well as air conditioning and an MP3-capable stereo with CD player.
The SX4 gets a host of small changes to its tidy wagon body for 2008. The five-speed manual has a taller fifth gear for better fuel economy and lower road noise; the fuel door has a standard remote release. Automatic climate control and heated outside mirrors are now available, as are Bluetooth and sport pedals.

Quick, to the point -- and on the mark as I read a few of these.
