You might not expect to find a world-class sports car manufacturer quietly hammering out a vehicle like the Esperante in suburban Atlanta. But that's the home of Panoz automotive. This GT car is made almost entirely of aluminum, making it the lightest vehicle in class, and the limited-production Esperante undergoes a number of performance enhancements for 2003. These include a rear suspension modified to enhance both ride and handling, a refined carbon fiber superstructure, and upgraded interior ergonomics.
