The folks in Delta Township, Michigan, will be glad to see this: The first vehicle to come out of the new Delta Township plant. And we're the first to show you the vehicle, Saturn's new SUV based on General Motors' Lambda architecture.

 

GM is still hush-hush about the upcoming SUV, but our sources tell us that it may eventually replace the Saturn Vue.

 

Production should start in the third quarter of 2006, with an on-sale date expected that fall, just one year from now.
